Hooked from the First Bite! When we first moved to the area, we had never heard of Buckhorn BBQ Grill. At first glance, it seemed a bit pricey—definitely looked like a “special occasion” kind of place. But once we finally gave it a try, we were hooked! The portions are huge, and the quality of the food absolutely makes it worth the price. We always have leftovers, which is a bonus. Our go-to is the 2-meat combo with ribs and BBQ chicken, plus garlic mashed potatoes and mac & cheese—comfort food heaven! We also love the tri-tip bites, chicken sandwich, burgers, and the lavender lemonade (especially with vodka!). It can get pretty busy, but we never mind the wait. The food and experience are always worth it. Highly recommend!
1st time here & it was great! Service was excellent. Love the assigned tables. Very good pulled pork blue cheese sandwich. Not over sauced, very little fat on the meat. Yummy! Mac & Cheese good for a white sauce Blue cheese burger delicious!
I’m definitely coming back food was great service was great atmosphere was nice and clean corn bread was Delicious and the burnt ends were OUT OF THIS WORLD of DELICIOUS I wonder if Gordon Ramsey is hiding in the kitchen
Just stopped here to get some lunch. They were busy, but we were able to place our order and get a table very quickly. My husband got the garlic pulled pork and I got the Swiss mushroom sandwich. It was delicious!! Food came fast and warm. My sandwich had a great amount of meat!! I ate my husband’s coleslaw salad and it was the best one I have ever had. They had plenty of options for drinks and extra sauces. The atmosphere is very relaxed. The restroom was clean. Nice staff. Would definitely come back. Great prices (our bill was only 35 for 2 sandwiches, one soda, fries and the salad).
We enjoyed our meal. We ordered the three meat, family feast 108 with tri tip steak, 2x ribs. The sides were broccoli salad, roadhouse onions and roasted vegetables. The family feast comes with a salad and cornbread and/or dinner rolls. The food arrived quickly. The rare tri tip steak was a bit chewy but had a good smokey flavor. The ribs were not the fall of the bone type. There was a 16 surcharge for 2x ribs. It got tedious after a while and we had to get a side of BBQ sauce. The sides were great, especially the roadhouse onions. It goes well with the salad, giving it an extra crunch. Minor issues: They serve cold butter with the dinner rolls making it impossible to spread. For the entire meal, there was an un-bused table next to us. It is not appetizing to see dirty dishes with half eaten food on them. I felt bad for the crowd of people waiting outside for a table. If only the staff would bus the dirty tables, they would be eating already.
Food was delicious as always. I tried the crispy chicken sandwich it had lettuce tomato avacado bacon and cheese. I would strongly recommend you try it you will not be disappointed.
We’ve been here a couple of times and food/service has been consistent. We usually sit in their outdoor sitting area because we bring our dog. As for food, we usually get The Tri Tip Platter or the Caesar Pleaser with the tri tip in medium-rare. Sometimes the meat are a little more cooked when we ask for medium so we stick with medium-rare. We also upgrade the corn bread to the jalapenos corn bread. Extra charge but it taste better than the regular, in our opinion.
